One day when it was late, I went to a hotel, to have by
dinner packed.
I ordered Jeera Rice, the hotel owner took the money and
gave me a receipt.
After a short pause, I asked him what you are giving with
the Jeera Rice,
He said 'Sagu', only a small moment passed by when the owner
as though defending his recipe about to be delivered, gave me an answer which
made me think only after I reached my home.
"He said if made properly, you don’t require anything
to eat with it,"
When I reached home, I thought about what he said, more than
just giving an answer to my question, he made an additional effort and spoke
something, which came out not as a defense to his recipe, but out of the mere
pride in the recipe which is made by his people.
If we go back to the times when man first started to work,
he was to get some food out of his work, so that he could feed his dependents
and also him.
gradually the motive to work changed, for some it was for
fame, for some it was for something else but for some it was for money.
And I feel it very much true, even today.
when the quality of work done directly affected the food you
EAT, man was more responsible,
now we see that work is business, the quality of his work no
more directly affects his food.
Not many care about the quality of work done, do we actually
deserve what we get for what we have done.
A simple example can be the difference between the Home made
food and Hotel food.
Ideally there should not be much a difference between the
too, but many times there is,
one does for love, while the latter 'is just a business'.
The same is the case with the politicians of the country,
how does their Rozi affect their Roti.
there is something missing in us ..??
The commitment, that it affects you when you make some
mistake,
you ...not your customers !!!
you ...not your neighbor !!!
you ...not your community !!!
you ...not your country !!!
It affects your "self"... it affects your inner
Goodwill.
how can you sleep tight, when some one is having sleepless
night because of your work.
This does not change, until the change comes from our
within.
As some wise saying exists, "when a egg breaks from
outside, a life ends, while when an egg breaks from within, a life
begins."
Well said..... Excellent work.... Self awareness is very important....
